Three freed from wreckage of four-vehicle 405 fwy off-ramp collision

SHERMAN OAKS, CA (FOX 11/CNS) - A four-vehicle collision on a freeway off-ramp in Sherman Oaks injured as many as six people, including three who were trapped in the wreckage.

The collision was reported about 5 p.m. on the Ventura Boulevard off-ramp from the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Sherman Oaks.

Crews could be seen cutting the roof from one of the vehicles so that victims could be freed.

At least three of the patients were taken to a hospital, but their conditions were not immediately available.
