Teams from around the world participate in first ever Grimp North America rescue challenge

Teams from around the world are participating in the first ever Grimp North America rescue challenge.

First responder teams train and practice survival and rescue techniques year round and they're put to the test on the Battleship IOWA in different scenarios like rope skills and repelling rescues as well as saving and transporting victims from tight spaces, all done in pitch black darkness.

This challenge has been in existence for 14 years mainly in Europe but this is the first time here in America.

The event will take place Friday and Saturday on the Iowa.
