Sinkhole in Buena Park closes street for several days
BUENA PARK, Calif. (FOX 11) - A large chunk of the road caved in on a Buena Park street Tuesday morning prompting police to block off traffic.
The sinkhole, an estimated 15-by-15 feet, opened up near a drainage channel shortly after 8 a.m. All lanes of Auto Center Drive were closed between Stanton Avenue and Dale Street.
The street is expected to be closed for several days as crews work to fix the problem.
No one was injured and no cars were damaged when the road collapsed.
