Promenade Temecula mall all clear after report of active shooter

TEMECULA, Calif. - Authorities have given the all-clear at the Promenade Temecula mall Monday after a report of an active shooter that turned out to be false. 

According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, a safety sweep was conducted and there is no threat at the mall.   

There were no reported injuries, authorities said. 

No further information was released.
