Police investigating officer-involved shooting in Chino

CHINO, Calif. (FOX 11) - Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in a Chino neighborhood late Wednesday afternoon.

The Chino Police Department tweeted that officers were serving a narcotics-related search warrant in the 6800 block of Rockrose Street at 4 p.m. when the shooting occurred.

The suspect was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. Police did not immediately release additional information on the incident or what led up to the officer-involved shooting.

No officers were hurt in this incident. Police say two people were inside the home being searched at the time of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
