Pick Pocket Suspects Caught On Video

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Division are asking for the public's assistance in identifying pick pocket suspects.

On October 23, 2015, around 6:20 p.m., three suspects entered a business located in the 8500 block of Beverly Boulevard. The first suspect followed the victim throughout the business. The first suspect stood next to the victim and appeared as though she was shopping, while attempting to remove the victim's wallet from her purse. The second and third suspects stood next to each other and appeared to be shopping near the victim, while the first suspect attempted several times to take the victim's wallet from her purse.

When the first suspect removed the victim's wallet, the second suspect walked over to the first suspect and looked through the victim's wallet. The third suspect walked away. The first suspect then placed the victim's wallet in her bag and walked out of the business with the second suspect. The victim did not realize her wallet and phone were missing until she was checking out at the cash register.

The first suspect is described as a female White, 35-40 years old with long black hair. She stands approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She is seen wearing black clothing in the video.

The second suspect is described as a male White, 25-30 years old with black hair. He stands approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and dark shoes.

The third suspect is described as a male White, 25-30 years old. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, black backpack, khaki pants, and brown shoes.
