West LA vet clinic lives at business after losing home in Palisades fire

Pasternak Veterinary Center, a clinic in West Los Angeles, is showing incredible resilience and dedication after they lost their home in the recent and devastating Palisades Fire

Dr. Henry Pasternak and his family, who have operated the clinic for two decades, are continuing to serve the community despite facing their loss.

"I didn't think I would ever lose my childhood home, all my childhood memories" his daughter Ellie Rose Pasternak shared with FOX 11. "

Without a house to go home to, they have been sleeping on the floor at their clinic so they can continue caring for animals that have been displaced and impacted.

The clinic said it remains open and operational and will continue providing support to the animals that are brought in. They still have space for more animals who have been displaced in the fire and are also accepting donations including dog beds, toys and food.

As of Monday, the Palisades Fire burned more than 23,700 acres and is only 14% contained.
