NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - Authorities on Thursday were investigating whether three tree fires in the North Hollywood area were intentionally set.
The fires were reported between 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m., according to reports from the scene.
One was at Beck Avenue and Collins Street, and others were in the 5900 block of Irvine Avenue and in the 5900 block of Carpenter Avenue.
The Los Angeles Fire Department has also been investigating a string of eight arson fires that have been set in the Studio City and North Hollywood areas over the past several weeks.
