Moving truck smashes into house in Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (FOX 11) - A massive moving truck rolled down a hill and slammed through the garage of this Sherman Oaks home.

The crash was reported Tuesday morning in the 15000 block of West Longbow Drive. The resident said he hired movers to get some items out of his house, and that they had been working for most of the day Monday and into Tuesday morning.

It was unclear how the truck ended up in the house. The driver of the truck reported that as he was leaving the residence, he backed the truck up the street and stopped at the top of the roadway -- which was on a hill.

The truck came rolling back down the hill and crashed into the garage, smashing his car into his bedroom wall.

No injuries were reported.
