Motorcycle crash shuts down 10 Freeway in El Monte

A crash involving a motorcycle has shut down the carpool and two main lanes of the westbound 10 Freeway in El Monte, according to the CHP.

EL MONTE, Calif. - A crash involving a motorcycle shut down the carpool and two main lanes of the westbound 10 Freeway near Durfee Avenue and the 605 Freeway in El Monte for several hours, the California Highway Patrol reports. 

An ambulance was called for the rider. That person's condition is unknown. 

All lanes reopened just before 8 a.m.
