Man stabbed, killed in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - A man was stabbed to death Thursday morning in Hollywood and police searched for his killer.

Officers were called about 1:15 a.m. to the area near Sunset Boulevard and Sierra Bonita Avenue and located the victim with a stab wound to his back, according to Lt. M. Rippe of the Los Angeles Police Department. The victim died at the scene, he said.

No suspect information was immediately available.

Sunset Boulevard was closed between Curson Avenue and Gardener Street while detectives conducted an investigation.
