Man shot to death under bridge in Boyle Heights
LOS ANGELES - Police sought the person who shot a man to death under a bridge in Boyle Heights early Monday morning.
The shooting was reported at 1:10 a.m. under a bridge located at the intersection of First Street and Mission Road, LAPD said.
Arriving officers found a man in his mid-20s suffering from at least one bullet wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area serves as a homeless encampment to about 50 people.
A description of the suspect was not available.
The investigation is ongoing.
