Man fatally shot by police responding to report of domestic dispute in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, Calif. (FOX 11/ CNS) - A suspect was shot to death Friday in an officer- involved shooting in Santa Ana as police responded to a report of a domestic dispute, according to authorities and reports from the scene.

The shooting occurred just after 4 a.m. in the 2400 block of Flower Street, according to broadcast reports. The man was taken to a hospital and later died.

It wasn't immediately clear what prompted police to fire on the man, but police say the man was armed with a knife.

No officers were injured.
