LAPD locates critically missing 62-year-old Granada Hills woman

GRANADA HILLS, Calif. - UPDATE: Rosa Avila has been found and is safe. No additional information was provided.

ORIGINAL STORY: Los Angeles police asked for the public's help on Sunday to find a critically missing 62-year-old Granada Hills woman who is believed to have the mental capacity of a 10-year-old.

Rosa Avila was last seen today in the 16500 block of McKeever Street wearing a dark jacket, navy shirt, black pants and black shoes, according to the LAPD's Devonshire station.

Avila is asian. She stands 5 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds, police said.
