Great Scott! It's Back to the Future Day!
We've reached October 21, 2015, the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown reached when they traveled to the future in the 1985 cult classic, "Back to the Future, Part II."
Some of their predictions have come true:
We don't have everything from the movie yet.
We're on the fence about hover boards, and even though the Chicago Cubs still have a chance to win the World Series, they have a long way to go.
Actor Christopher Lloyd is surprised the movie has remained timeless. "I mean I understand why, I didn't anticipate this when we were making the movie that we'd be sitting here now discussing it but the kind of excitement of the series doesn't diminish it just keeps building cause more and more young people see it, their kids see it and it just expands, it keeps going on and on and on and it has aged very well," he said. "I saw it last night and it looked fresh, it looks new, has the same excitement to it, so it's a phenomenon."
The trilogy is being re-released on the 10/21/15, which has been deemed 'Back to the Future Day' due to its reference in the film.
