George Lopez recalls interview with Prince: 'If he liked you, you felt special'

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - In a rare television interview, George Lopez welcomed Prince to his show "Lopez Tonight" and the pair talked about everything from music to Lopez's swanky shoes.

Lopez appeared on Good Day LA Wednesday to promote his upcoming celebrity golf tournament, and reminisced about his friendship with the late singer.

"The one thing about Prince, if he liked you, you felt very special."

His 9th annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic is Monday, May 2. He's also performing stand-up at the Orpheum Theatre this weekend.
