FOX 11 In Depth: North Korea, Dick Van Dyke and the LA Legal Orchestra
This week's show is our 25th and we're celebrating with a program that runs from the quite-serious to the very-entertaining!
In SEGMENT ONE, we discuss the ever increasing tension between the governments of North Korea and the US. Michael Won is the political editor of the Korea Daily here in Los Angeles. He came here from South Korea many years ago, still has family there and has good insight into the situation.
In SEGMENT TWO, it's time to get insights into the world of Dick Van Dyke. Why does this famous song-and-dance man feel these are the best years of his life. He will be 92 in December, but dances like he's years younger. He talks about his busy schedule, politics, and his life in Malibu.
In SEGMENT THREE: The Los Angeles Legal Orchestra is unique. Maestro Richard Greene, Esq. had the idea that he couldn't possibly be the only lawyer who played a musical instrument. He was right. He gathered lawyers, judges, paralegals, and others and formed a full orchestra, a swing band, and a choir. For the legal eagles is stress relief and fun. For the rest of us, it's very entertaining music. We had a chance to observe one of the rehearsals and hear from Greene and others on why when they're not fighting in court... they love making beautiful music together.
In SEGMENT FOUR: We begin our look at the coming solar eclipse which will be the subject of next week's FOX 11 News IN DEPTH.
