Former 'Deadliest Catch' Producer Shot And Killed In Pasadena
PASADENA (CNS/FOX 11) - A 24-year-old man who worked as an associate producer on Discovery Channel's ``Deadliest Catch'' show was fatally shot near his home in the unincorporated Chapman Woods neighborhood -- just east of Pasadena -- early Friday.
Joe McMahon was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 3600 block of Yorkshire Road around 2:20 a.m.
Neighbors reported hearing several gunshots, according to the sheriff's department. McMahon was pronounced dead at the scene.
"We are heartsick about this tragedy -- our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to all that knew and worked with him,'' Laurie Goldberg of Discovery & Science Networks said in a statement.
McMahon worked on the program in 2013, according to his IMDb.
