Eric Idle Back This Summer With 'Spamalot' At Hollywood Bowl

(FOX 11) Eric Idle, who wrote the Broadway musical "Monty Python's Spamalot" that won three Tony Awards, will join the cast 10 years later at the Hollywood Bowl this summer.

The parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005 will star Kevin Chamberlin as Sir Bedevere, Tom Deckman as Not Dead Fred and Rick Holmes as Sir Lancelot. Idle will play the Historian and also be joined on stage by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Merle Dandridge and Warwick Davis.

Three performances have been scheduled for 8 p.m. July 31 and August 1 and at 7:30 p.m. August 2. Tap here to purchase tickets.
