Encino man charged with assault after attacking five women

ENCINO, Calif. - An Encino man is facing assault charges after officials say he assaulted and groped five women, including two real estate agents during open houses.
The incidents happened this year in the San Fernando Valley, the latest was during an open house in Encino on Sunday, September 22.
45-year-old Alen Karaboghosian is facing one felony count of assault with intent to commit rape and four misdemeanor counts of sexual battery, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Realtor attacked, groped by man at open house in Encino
During the open house in Encino, the victim showed Karaboghosian a house, once they walked to the front porch he allegedly pushed her to the ground in an attempt to sexually assault her, according to Deputy District Attorney Brendan Sullivan.
The incident was caught on security camera.
Prosecutors say the four previous incidents date back to February. He is accused of groping another real estate agent during an open house and three other women on public streets.
Karaboghosian was arrested on September 25. If convicted as charged he faces a maximum sentence of eight years in state prison.
The prosecutor is recommending that bail be set at $180,000.
