Murphy, also served as a producer on the film described how the two had very different career paths.
"I auditioned for SNL when I was 18 years old...so things kinda happened for me and Rudy kinda come in through the backdoor..." and had a cult following Murphy adds.
The film also features Moore's rise to fame through persistence as he went from record store employee to successful comedian and eventually the man behind the blaxploitation films.
The award-winning actor also added that Moore's story wil serve as a lesson to others about how determination and believing in yourself can pay off in the end.
Murphy also mentioned how the cast had great energy and a whole lot of laughs with an all-star cast featuring Craig Robinson, Wesley Snipes, Mike Epps, Keegan-Michael Key, Chris Rock, Snoop Dogg and many more.
