Body discovered after house fire in La Puente

The investigation remains ongoing.

LA PUENTE, Calif. - Authorities are investigating after a body was found following a house fire Saturday in La Puente.

Firefighters put out the fire at the home on Waringwood Road just before 5 p.m. and discovered the body after a search of the home was conducted.

The cause of the fire, as well as the circumstances of the person's death, remains under investigation.

No other details were immediately available.
