Amber Alert issued after California boy abducted by father
MERCED COUNTY, Calif. - An Amber Alert has been issued after a 2-year-old boy was reportedly abducted by his father.
32-year-old Steven Weir and 2-year-old John Weir were last seen on September 20th in Merced.
The alert was activated by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the Merced County Sheriff’s Office.
Weir is considered armed and dangerous and anyone who sees them is urged to call 911 immediately.
The vehicle they were seen in is a 2005 red Hyundai Elantra with the California license plate 5SKT544.
