Amber Alert canceled after 2 kids taken in stolen car found safe

(FOX 11) - An Amber Alert was canceled early Friday morning after two children were found safe in a white 2016 Honda Accord that was stolen Thursday night in Cathedral City, according to police.

Jayden Cortez, 1, and Carlos Cortez, 2, were abducted from Cathedral City, California, authorities said. The car was last seen heading toward Ramon Road before it was located hours later in Desert Hot Springs by Riverside County Sheriff's deputies.

Information on the suspect was not made immediately available.
