4.7 magnitude earthquake hits near Ridgecrest
RIDGECREST, Calif. (FOX 11) - A 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck the town of Ridgecrest Thursday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey the earthquake struck near Little Lake, which is a few miles from Ridgecrest.
The depth of the quake has been registered at 1.9 km.
Several aftershocks were reported after the 4.7 quake.
