13 men arrested in human trafficking bust in Pomona
POMONA, Calif. (FOX 11/CNS) - Authorities investigating human trafficking arrested 13 men in Pomona, including a local resident who allegedly solicited an undercover deputy to work for him as a prostitute, the sheriff's department reported Monday.
The investigation was conducted last Thursday along a section of Holt Avenue.
Anthony Grant, 24, of Pomona was booked on suspicion of pandering, a felony. The other 12 men were booked on suspicion of soliciting undercover ndeputies for various sex acts, the sheriff's department reported.
The operation was conducted by personnel from the L.A. Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, along with officers from the Pomona Police Department.
