1 person in critical condition following head-on crash in Encino
ENCINO, Calif. - One person is in critical condition Friday night when their car collided with another head-on in Encino.
The crash happened in the 6000 block of N. White Oak Avenue at about 9:42 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department says the head-on crash resulted in one of the individuals becoming trapped inside their car. That person was taken to the hospital in critical condition after firefighters extricated them from the vehicle by cutting the car's roof.
A second individual suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries, LAFD said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
