Light showers Thursday morning in SoCal, partly sunny and mild by afternoon

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - Light showers continued Thursday morning in Southern California, which was expected to give way to partly sunny and mild conditions by afternoon.

A high of 67 degrees was forecast for downtown Los Angeles.

Forecasters said there will be a brief pause in the rain on Friday before a stronger storm system moves into the area Friday night and into Saturday.

Clearing skies were expected Sunday with only a slight chance of a shower.
