After a disastrous roll-out that saw some voters wait in line for as long as four hours to cast ballots, questions will certainly abound Wednesday about the revamped voting system that prompted Los Angeles County's top election official to publicly apologize on election night.

The vote was too close to call Tuesday night for the only statewide measure on California’s primary ballot: a $15 billion bond to repair and modernize aging schools, many of which are more than a half-century old and have issues ranging from leaky roofs and old wiring to toxic mold.

Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg will reassess on Wednesday whether he should stay in the race after getting disappointing results in Super Tuesday primaries despite spending more than a half billion dollars on his campaign.

There were lines out the door Monday night at the Registrar Recorder’s Office in Norwalk. The polls now open around the clock for 24-hour voting through Super Tuesday with some big changes at the ballot box.

Some Black Lives Matter activists claim that the husband of Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey pointed a gun at them Monday morning as they held a protest outside of Lacey's Granada Hills home.
