UFC Champion Holly Holm on defeating Ronda Rousey

It's being called the biggest upset in UFC history. Saturday night, Holly Holm went into the ring against Ronda Rousey...she left that ring as the new Bantamweight Champion.

Before the fight, Rousey declared no one could knock her out. Well, Holly knocked Rousey out 59-seconds into the second round.

In the interview with Steve Edwards, Maria Sansone and Araksya Karapetyan, Holly explains what was going through her head in that defining moment: "I never felt the fight was mine until the very end" Holm said about her opponent.

Holly explained that the tension began at the weigh-in for UFC 193, "Ronda was intense! Are we doing this right now or what?!" But her coach said to her afterwards "Do you honestly think she is going to hit you any harder than she wanted to at the weigh-in?!"

"You don't be on top for that long and not want a rematch" Holly explains. Holm suffered a previous boxing defeat to Anne Sophie Mathis in 2011, she detailed what it is like to face the possibility of a rematch after such a huge defeat: "Those are make-or-break moments, and you go back and have self-doubt, there's mind-games you play and battle demons and your own doubt." But later said "I never doubted my self to come back, and I came back stronger and avenged my loss."

Holm is sure Rousey is thinking about a rematch "I'm thinking if I don't give myself this opportunity to rematch, I would regret it for the rest of my life...there's a building time after that, and I learned that about myself, and about other people."

Lastly, Holly discusses the funny notion that people occasionally think that she looks like comedian Amy Schumer. "I really like her - I think she's hilarious."
