Dodgers win 14-3 over Padres in home opener

It was a sold out crowd Monday, and those who came to root on the Dodgers got what they wanted: an opening day win.

The Dodgers upended the Padres 14-3. For an opening day, that's a big score, but there were also real fireworks and real legends.

Tommy LaSorda and Wally Moon were in attendance, both in their 80's like Vin Scully. Scully wasn't here, but there were plenty of pictures, reminders and jerseys people wore with his name.

On top of that, LaSorda and Moon teamed up to shout out the famous Scully line, "It's time for Dodger baseball."

We talked with lots of fans who loved seeing LaSorda and Moon, loved the fireworks and were glad baseball was back.

Fan Robert Chacon said, "We've been coming for 30 years. Every year the whole family gets together."
