3x Olympic champ Kerri Walsh Jennings eyeing 4th gold in Rio

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - Kerri Walsh Jennings is a three-time Olympic gold medalist in beach volleyball, and she's looking to win her fourth this summer in Rio.

The athlete stopped by Good Day LA on Friday to promote her involvement with the DICK's Foundation, which has pledged to donate $1,000 to select youth sports organizations for every medal that Team USA wins in Rio.

Walsh-Jennings will compete with partner April Ross.

"April has everything you need to be a champion," she said. "Her heart and dedication."

When she's not busy winning gold medals, Walsh-Jennings is married and a mother of three kids.

"It's the best thing ever. I'm living my dream.. It's really an inspired life."
