Young victim who woke up to exposed predator speaks out

(FOX 11) - Santa Ana Police are urgently looking for a predator on the prowl.

They say he climbed over a wall on Edinger around 1 a.m. Monday and crept into the back of a condo, opening an unlocked rear sliding door.

He went to the second floor of the home where a young girl was sleeping.

"I'm just scared to be outdoors. I just really don't want to walk by myself," she said.

She woke up, thinking it was her father, only to see what she describes as a 20- something-year old clean shaven Hispanic man, wearing a red hat and blue or black jeans ...exposing himself.

"He asked me if I wanted it and that's when he showed me his private part. And that's when I screamed for my dad. And I yelled "dad dad" a few times.

Her screams sent him feeling out of the home, over the wall, where video captured him appearing to pull up his pants.

"I hope they catch him and put him behind bars, because I don't want to go through this again....or to anyone, she said.
