Young man killed in Wilmington shooting
WILMINGTON, Calif. (FOX 11) - Los Angeles police are investigating a Friday afternoon homicide in Wilmington.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Lagoon Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. for a report of gunfire in the area and found a man about 20-25 years old suffering from a gunshot wound, LAPD said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released. Police believe this may have been a gang-related shooting.
A description of the shooter was not immediately known.
