Woman survives violent attack at her Santa Ana day spa

Yuneng Wong is lucky to be alive after surviving a violent attack at her Santa Ana day spa.

Security camera footage released by police captured the struggle between Wong and the suspect who is seen holding a handgun while using it to strike her in the head.

"At first I wanted to run away, but he pulled my hair and used a gun to start hitting me," Wong said.

The attack continues down the hallway as Wong described the moment the man pinned her against the wall and choked her.

"He was choking my neck continually," she said. "I almost died because I lost my breathe."

She said he loosed his grip just enough so she could get away and make a run for the back door, but the beating didn't stop.

Wong was left with bruises covering her entire body.

"He abused me so bad," she said. "He wanted to kill me."

Security cameras captured a clear image of the man who is described as Hispanic, age 22-28, with short black hair and a tattoo on his right forearm.

Wong said he was a customer who came back twice for a massage on Monday evening then told her he was going to rob her.

After stealing several hundred dollars, police said the suspect left in a red four door sedan similar to a Honda Accord.

Wong wants others to look out for him, she's afraid his next victim won't be so lucky.

"I wish this won't happen to any other people," she said. "I'm the last victim of this bad guy."

The suspect is wanted to armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Anyone with information is urged to call Santa Ana police at 714-245-8362.
