Woman killed, another injured in Chino 'Big Lots' parking lot

CHINO, Calif. (FOX 11) - A woman was killed Thursday afternoon and another person taken to the hospital after bullets rang out at a Big Lots parking lot in Chino.

The shooting occurred at about 2:43 p.m. in the 12500 block of Central Avenue, according to Chino police. The immediate area and parking lot are closed as police investigate the circumstances surrounding this homicide.

Authorities advise the public to stay away from the area.

One male victim was taken to the hospital, according to police. His condition is unknown.

The gunman remains at large. No suspect description was immediately available.
