'Whatever' tops list of most annoying words & phrases of 2017

Out of all the words and phrases used in casual conversation, there is one word that continues to annoy Americans the most.

The annual Marist College Poll of most annoying words and phrases found 'whatever' tops the list for the ninth straight year.

Winning the vote of a third of the one thousand respondents who were given five choices.

President Trump's favorite phrase: 'Fake news' came in at second place with 23-percent.

'No offense, but' came in third with twenty-percent.

In fourth and fifth place were 'literally' and 'you know what I mean.'

Other phrases that made the list...
'Ya know, right...'
'I can't even'....
And another Trump-ism... 'Huge.'
