VIDEO: Simi Valley high school student lured from class, jumped by other students

Video surfaced on Monday of a former student at Simi Valley High School being beaten outside of class by two other students.

The video, obtained by the Simi Valley Acorn, shows the victim being pummeled repeatedly during the attack on October 16th.

The Acorn reports that the victim was lured out of class by two assailants who forged a nurse's note to get him into an area they desired.

"I was in class when it happened and the video was sent out to everyone in a bulk message," said Emily Taylor, a junior at the school. "30 minutes after everyone knew, people had it on video, there's multiple videos of it."

Taylor said the victim had made negative comments about a student who had committed suicide just days before the beating.

"He said I'm gonna go home and pull a Garrett, which is the kid who had committed suicide," she said.

The attorneys representing the victim told FOX 11 he suffered a broken jaw and had teeth knocked out.

He is now being homeschooled and has filed restraining orders against his assailants.

A district spokesperson told FOX 11 she couldn't comment because minors are involved.
