LOS ANGELES, CA (FOX 11) - Cellphone video captured the aftermath of a two car collision in west Los Angeles which ultimately led up to a physical brawl between the drivers, one of which fled the scene.
Joe Prosceno told FOX 11 a driver crashed into him at the intersection of Ocean Park Blvd. and Bundy Drive Wednesday night around 7:30pm.
He pulled out his phone to record the damage, and that's when the other driver snapped.
"He grabbed the camera out of my hand and grabbed my throat and then we began to scuffle," Prosceno said. "So as he grabs my throat I just immediately threw two right swings into the side of his face."
He says the two of them fought on the ground until bystanders broke it up.
By the time Prosceno retrieves his phone, he's able to record the other driver driving away from the scene, making the incident a hit and run.
"The guy had no reason to run, no reason to tell me to put my phone away, he's obviously trying to hide something there's no reason to try to run away," he said.
Prosceno told FOX 11 he filed a police report with LAPD, and a criminal investigation is now underway.
