Veteran fights back after receiving letter saying he doesn't "look handicapped"

(WTXF) - A veteran fought back against a harsh letter placed on his car by someone who assumed he was wrongfully parked in a handicapped space.

The original note says that the writer has consistently seen the car parked in a handicapped space, and also notes that the driver of the car doesn't have a handicapped sticker.

The writer then comments on the driver's appearance, saying that he doesn't look handicapped to him.

The veteran addressed in the original letter then offers his rebuttal in the form of a typed letter.

He says that he doesn't need a handicapped placard because he has a Disabled Veteran license plate. He also says that although he may not appear handicapped to the writer, his combat-sustained injuries say otherwise.
