UPDATE: Missing 15-year-old girl located

BELL, Calif. (FOX 11) - A missing 15-year-old girl from Bell has been located, according to family.

The teen was reported missing after leaving her home around 7 a.m. July 3 for school and not returning.

She was involved in an argument with her mother the night before, authorities said.

Her mother told FOX 11 that the teen told friends she was going to meet a boy that she knew from Instagram. The boy was checked out by police and did not meet with her that day, police said.

On Wednesday, the teen's mother said she had been located.
