Two LAPD officers injured in South LA pursuit, crash

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - Two Los Angeles police officers were reported hospitalized with minor injuries after their patrol car collided with a
suspected stolen vehicle in South Los Angeles early today at the end of a short pursuit.

The occupants of the pursued vehicle, a man and a woman, were also hospitalized, news media outlets reported.

The collision occurred near the intersection of South Main and West 98th streets in the Century Palms neighborhood around 1:10 a.m.

Broadcast footage showed the patrol car with extensive front end damage.

The suspect stolen vehicle struck a wall and became wedged against a tree, sustaining extensive damage.
