Trump attends fundraising event in Beverly Hills

President Trump wrapped up a whirlwind tour in California with a stop at his golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes -- before that, a trip to US-Mexico border in Calexico, and then a fundraiser in Beverly Hills.

For drivers, if you were anywhere in West L.A. Friday evening, you got nowhere fast. The President's nearly six-hour visit blocked off streets from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica.

Trump's arrival in the city caused a headache to those who live in Beverly Hills and those trying to get around West L.A.

"We have to get the kids from school. It's a pain. A pain, for sure," said resident Carolyn Sayles.

Trump's trip to Los Angeles began at about 4 p.m.in Santa Monica where he was greeted by supporters. The presidential motorcade then made its way to the Beverly Hills home of health care executive Lee Samson.

Tickets to the fundraiser started at $15,000 for dinner, $50,000 for the opportunity to take a picture with Trump and $150,000 to participate in a roundtable discussion during the event.

Trump will head to Las Vegas next.
