'Tough love' - Sheriff says father turned in child after spotting drugs
WALTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Walton County sheriff is praising a father's tough choice to turn in their child for drug possession.
Deputies said they were called out to the home after that concerned parent spotted what they thought was cocaine. The child ended up being booked on charges of trafficking of ecstasy, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during a felony and possession of a firearm by an underage person.
Deputies said the child was taken to the regional youth detention center.
