Torrance police arrest 13 gang members suspected of 5,000 residential burglaries

Five thousand burglaries.

That's how many break-ins police say a gang pulled off before being busted in South L.A.

Friday morning in a pre-dawn raid police arrested 13 suspected gang members in a three-year investigation.

Arrests were made not only in Torrance, but LA county and other counties.

Money and weapons were also seized.
