Three Los Angeles area streets used for impromptu driving stunts

Police dispatched to a Koreatown intersection Monday morning on reports of motorists performing donuts and spinouts turned up no suspects.

Police dispatched to Crenshaw and Olympic boulevards sometime around 1 a.m. reported that the scene had already cleared, said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

A group of similar car enthusiasts also shut down Hollywood and Cahuenga boulevards to perform more dangerous stunts. News outlets reported police were called to break up a third sideshow Sunday night in Van Nuys.

Video of the street takeover in Koreatown shows a driver circling around a group of people standing in the street, as well as fireworks going off.

Police told the station that no one was injured or arrested at any of the three locations.

Portions of video used in this story are restricted to the Los Angeles area.
