Three kids suffer gunshot wounds in South L.A. drive-by shooting

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - Two 12-years-old boys and a 16-year-girl were hospitalized as the result of gunshots wounds sustained in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles Wednesday evening, said officials.

Their conditions are currently unknown and the shooter remains at-large.

The shooting happened when a car pulled up in the 500 block of West 97th Street around 10:00 p.m. when someone inside the vehicle opened fire, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available.
