SANTA ANA, Calif. - The air-traffic control tower at John Wayne Airport in Orange County was closed Friday due to a suspected case of COVID-19.
Airport officials wrote on Twitter that the case is "suspected but unconfirmed."
No details were released on the possible patient.
The airport remains open, according to airport officials. Air traffic is being handled by the Federal Aviation Administration's regional control center.
Passengers were urged to check with their airlines to confirm flight status.
