Suspect in custody after pursuit, foot chase in Van Nuys

VAN NUYS, Calif. (FOX 11) - A suspect was taken into custody early Monday in the Van Nuys area after a brief pursuit and foot chase.

The chase was first reported around 6 a.m. in the North Hollywood area of a reported stolen vehicle.

Authorities attempted multiple PIT maneuvers and eventually the chase came to a stop in Van Nuys where the suspect fled on foot before being taken into custody.
