Suspect holed up at market in East LA surrenders
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - Law enforcement responded to a barricaded suspect at a market in the 3600 block of Blanchard Street Monday evening.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says a man barricaded himself inside the Lucky Market at about 6:30 p.m. after deputies attempted to stop a stolen vehicle.
There were no hostages, according to authorities. The standoff ended at about 9 p.m. when law enforcement took the suspect into custody.
